Fargo,ND : Man may face DUI after crashing scooter on May,Monday 28th 2018

Police are investigating if alcohol was involved after a man crashed a scooter while trying make a U-turn here.

Police were called to a motorcycle accident around 8:15 p.m. on Monday, May 28, near the intersection of 40th Avenue South and 47th Street.


Fargo Sgt. Travis Moser said a man was eastbound on 40th Avenue when he attempted to make a U-turn at 47th Street, lost his balance and tipped the scooter.

The man was taken by ambulance to the hospital with non-life threatening injuries. Moser said the man said he possibly had a broken foot or a broken leg.

Police believe the man had been drinking. Moser said officers are still determining if DUI charges will be applied.
