SALT LAKE CITY, UT : Man killed in Redwood Road hit-and-run crash investigation underway on Friday, 20th October 2023

A man was killed Friday night on a Salt Lake City roadway after a car struck him and fled the scene.

Officers with the Salt Lake City Police Department said that this investigation began shortly before 11 p.m. on Oct. 20 when dispatched received a report of a person on the ground near 1130 South Redwood Road.

The caller stated that the the victim - an adult man - had critical injuries.
