Fayette County, PA: Fatal crash kills one in Fayette County on Sunday, August 2nd 2015

A fatal two-car accident was reported in Henry Clay Township Sunday evening.Fayette County emergency responders confirm the call in came around 12:40 p.m.According to coroner, Geoffrey Cornes, 46, was pronounced dead at the scene. Two others were flown to Ruby Memorial Hospital in West Virginia.Police say evidence at the scene and witness statements suggest that one car was traveling west on State Route 40 and crossed into the eastbound lane, striking an oncoming car.State police out of Uniontown are investigating the crash.
