TYRE, NY : NY police investigate crash that killed Vt. man on Monday, November 21st, 2016

Snow-covered roads led to a deadly crash in New York that killed a Vermont man.

It happened on Interstate 90 between Waterloo and Weedsport Monday night.

New York State Police say the driver from Virginia lost control of her car and was hit by a tractor-trailer.

A passenger in her car, 31-year-old Valentin Ramirez of Sheldon, Vermont, died at the scene.

The crash investigation is ongoing.
