SURPRISE, AZ : US 60 reopens in Surprise following crash involving 2 semi-trucks, car on Friday, 9th February 2024

A portion of US 60 in Surprise was closed for several hours on Friday following a crash involving semi-trucks and a car.

The collision happened shortly before 10:30 in the eastbound lanes of Grand Avenue (US 60) at milepost 138, just east of 163rd Avenue. The Arizona Department of Public Safety says the crash involves two semi-trucks, including a car hauler, that jack-knifed as well as a car. The driver of the car has serious injuries, according to DPS.

The eastbound lanes of US 60 were closed in the area during the investigation but reopened shortly after 2:30 p.m.
