Oakwood Hills, IL : 21-year-old Barrington man dies in Oakwood Hills crash on Thursday, 28th November, 2019

A 21-year-old Barrington man has died following a Thanksgiving night crash, according to the McHenry County Sheriff’s Office.

Sheriff’s deputies, Oakwood Hills police officers and paramedics from the Cary Fire Protection District were sent around 10:20 p.m. Thursday to Rawson Bridge Road, between Del Miller Lane and Brittany Drive, for a report of a crash, Deputy Sandra Rogers said Friday.

The driver of an SUV was traveling eastbound on Rawson Bridge Road when the vehicle went off the road to the north for unknown reasons and struck a tree, she said.

The driver was pronounced dead at the scene, she said. No further information was provided about the driver, whose identity has not been released.
