MAITLAND, FL : Car crashes into Maitland house on April, Thursday 13th 2017

A driver tried to flee after crashing into a house early Thursday in Maitland, officials said.

The crash was reported on Audubon Drive off Orlando Avenue.Police said the driver lost control, crashed into a fence and struck the side of the home.

The family in the home said the driver tried to get away but was caught.

No other details have been released.
