CHATHAM COUNTY, GA : Tybee Island man dies in fatal Saturday accident on Saturday, 15th July 2023

A Tybee Island man was killed by a vehicle after witnesses say he darted in the roadway on July 15.

The crash happened on Georgia 25 at Gamble Road. Richard Peter, 67, was pronounced dead at the scene.

Police say next of kin have been notified.
