LICKING COUNTY, OH : A deadly accident on Monday, August 13, 2017

The Ohio State Highway Patrol is investigating a deadly accident that happened on U.S. 62 east of Johnstown.

Authorities say around 11:45 p.m., 25-year-old Bryan E. Lake of Galloway was eastbound on U.S. 62 when he drove his car left of center, over-corrected and drove off the right side of the road.

The car, a 2001 Chevrolet Monte Carlo, overturned several times and Lake was thrown from the vehicle, according to troopers. He was pronounced dead at the scene.

OSHP says Lake wasn't wearing his seat belt, and any alcohol or drug use is unknown at this time.
