North Kansas City MO : One person minor injuries in Car-tractor collision on Friday December 11 2015
North Kansas City, Missouri
One man sustained apparently minor injuries after a car rear-ended his tractor on Friday afternoon.
A Kubota tractor and a vehicle were both driving south on N. Kansas near Studer at about 1:50 p.m. Friday, Topeka Police Sgt. Jay Junghans said. The car struck the tractor from behind for reasons that weren’t immediately clear, he said.
The vehicle rear-ended the tractor and pushed it off the road,” he said.
The rider on the tractor was transported for evaluation with what appeared to be minor injuries, Junghans said. The driver wasn’t injured, he said.
The tractor didn’t appear to be damaged, though the car sustained extensive front-end damage and had to be towed. N. Kansas was closed near Studer while police cleared the scene.
