SOUTH MONTGOMERY COUNTY, TX : Hazmat crash shuts down Rayford Road on Thursday, June 15, 2017
Fire and Precinct 3 crews have Rayford Road shut down as they clean up a hazmat crash Thursday morning.
The road is closed from Fox Run Boulevard to Fox Ravine Drive as crews from South Montgomery County Fire Department and Needham Fire Rescue clean up the spill. A tanker truck overturned in the curve near those intersections just before 8 a.m. and began leaking hazardous material.
The truck is from K3-BMI, an Alvin-based oilfield and municipal services company.
Deputies with the Precinct 3 Constable's Office are also on scene assisting with the investigation.
