REDDING, CT : Driver asleep at the wheel caused Redding crash on Route 58 near Silversmith Lane on Sunday, 29th December, 2019

One man was taken to Danbury Hospital Sunday after falling asleep at the wheel and crashing along Route 58, police said.
Redding police said the driver was headed southbound on Route 58 near Silversmith Lane when the car drifted off the right side of the road, striking a pile of rocks and a utility pole.

The crash flipped the car on its roof, police said.
