Boise,ID : Motorcyclist killed in State Street crash identified by coroner on November, Saturday 11th 2017

The motorcyclist killed in a crash with a car on Saturday has been identified by the Ada County coroner.

Lance Barry Hitt, 61, of Middleton, died of blunt force trauma as a result of the crash, the coroner’s office said.

Police responded to the crash near the State Street and Glenwood Street intersection around 4:15 p.m. According to reports, Hitt and the driver of the car were westbound on State Street when Hitt attempted to pass on the right in the bicycle lane at the same time that the vehicle turned right into a business driveway.
