FARGO, MN : Two Karlstad teens injured in crash on Sunday, January, 14th 2018
Two teens from Karlstad, Minn., were injured Sunday morning, Jan. 14, when the car they were in rear-ended a semi-trailer in Marshall County, the Minnesota State Patrol reported.
Emily Elaine Bugge, 18, the driver, and her passenger, Madison Lea Bugge, 16, were taken to Sanford hospital in Thief River Falls with injuries that were not life-threatening.
The pair were northbound in a Buick LaCrosse on U.S. Highway 59 near Lincoln Township around 10:40 a.m. when they crashed into the back of a Mack semi driven by Allen Leroy Lyseng, 64, Bemidji. The roads were snowy or icy, the Patrol reported, and alcohol was not involved.
All parties wore seatbelts.
