Stewartsville, MO : Bethany residents die in truck-car crash on Highway 36 near Stewartsville on Saturday, April 23, 2016

Longtime friends Peggy Rinehart and Wanda Findley lost their lives Saturday when their car was struck by a tractor-trailer on Highway 36 near Stewartsville. The Highway Patrol reported that a truck driven by a Stockton, California, man struck Mrs. Rinehart’s Chevrolet Impala from behind at about 8:30 a.m. Mrs. Rinehart, 86, and Mrs. Findley, 81, both of Bethany were pronounced dead at the scene.
