A Johnstown woman died Saturday in a one-vehicle crash on Strayer Street in the city, Cambria County Coroner Jeffrey Lees said.
Erica L. Fetzer, 38, was behind the wheel of a 2003 Hyundai that went off the roadway at 1:43 p.m. and struck a tree head-on in the 100 block of Strayer Street, Lees said.
Fetzer was taken to Conemaugh Memorial Medical Center in Johnstown, where she died in the emergency room at 2:25 p.m., he said.
An autopsy will be performed Sunday at Forensic DX in Windber. The coroner’s office and Johnstown police are handling the crash investigation.
