Salida, CO : Cañon City woman, 92, dies following wreck on Monday October 3 2016

Myra Proctor, 92, of Cañon City died at about 10:30 a.m. Monday following a wreck on Colo. 9 near milepost 9, Colorado State Patrol Trooper Eric Zachareas reported.
Driving a 1995 Buick, Proctor entered the roadway from the west attempting to turn south on Colo. 9 when a northbound 1995 Peterbilt semi-tractor and trailer driven by Bryan Ellis, 54, of Cañon City struck the driver’s side of the Buick.
The semi was pulling a flatbed trailer with flagstone. Before striking the Buick, the semi and trailer skidded onto the southbound lane of Colo. 9, Zachareas said.
The Buick was pushed northwest as it rotated clockwise and came to rest off the west side of the roadway facing north.
Both the semi and trailer continued in a straight path and came to rest facing northwest off the west side of the road.
Both drivers were wearing seat belts at the time of the wreck.
