Two people were taken to a hospital after a man suspected of drunk driving hit their motorcycle while he was driving an SUV in west Colorado Springs on Saturday night, police said.
The driver, later identified as 26-year-old Timothy Ahr, was traveling on eastbound Colorado Avenue when he collided into a motorcycle at 15th Street, police said. Both riders were thrown off the motorcycle; the passenger was seriously hurt.
The crash was reported just before 10:30 p.m. Saturday.
