Allentown, PA : Identified the woman killed in a head-on crash on Thursday, June 15, 2017

Authorities on Thursday identified the woman killed in a head-on crash a day earlier on Route 145 in Lehigh Township.

Alana Hein, who lives in the 200 block of Main Street in Walnutport, died at the scene, Northampton County Coroner Zachary Lysek said.Hein's cause of death was multiple blunt force trauma and her death was ruled accidental, Lysek said.

Police said they are still investigating the crash that left a second woman seriously injured.

Both vehicles collided about 12:30 p.m. Wednesday on a curve a quarter-mile west of the Treichlers bridge. Township police Chief Scott Fogel said one vehicle crossed into the oncoming lane.

"According to two witnesses, the red Chevrolet Equinox crossed the double-yellow line into the southbound traffic lane and collided with the white vehicle, a Kia Optima," Fogel said.
