Ketchum, ID : Two injured, woman charged in Ketchum DUI crash on Sunday, July 10, 2016

Two pedestrians were injured Sunday in Ketchum after being struck by a vehicle in front of a bar.

Ketchum police officers were dispatched shortly after 2 a.m. to a vehicle versus pedestrian crash in front of Whiskey Jacques, 211 N. Main St.

Officers found two pedestrians had been struck by a gold 1983 Mercedes 300 that had been traveling south on Main Street, police chief Dave Kassner wrote in a statement Monday.

Sun Valley residents Sara Manevska, 21, and Cedric P. Joanny, 21, were standing in the roadway at the time they were struck. Manevska was transported to St. Luke’s Medical Center with multiple broken bones and internal injuries.

She was later transported by air ambulance to St. Alphonsus Regional Medical Center in Boise, where she was listed in “serious” condition as of late Monday afternoon.

Joanny was treated at the scene and released.

The investigating officer spoke to the driver of the Mercedes, 21-year-old Megan E. Jones of Hailey, and noticed “the odor of an alcoholic beverage coming from her person. Her speech was slurred and her eyes were glassy and bloodshot.”

As part of the on-scene investigation, Jones was requested to perform standard field sobriety tests.

She was unable to pass these tests and was arrested for aggravated driving under the influence, then transported to the Blaine County Public Safety Facility for testing.

Jones’ breath samples registered .23/.22 which is well above the legal limit of .08, according to Ketchum police.
