An 82-year-old DuPont man has died of injuries sustained in a wrong-way crash that killed his wife a week ago.

Albert Owings died at a local hospital Wednesday.

His wife, 69-year-old Berdie Owings, was killed Nov. when a driver traveling the wrong direction on Interstate 5 struck the couple’s Suzuki Aerio station wagon head-on.

The crash happened in the southbound lanes near the DuPont-Steilacoom Road off-ramp.
