Tucson ,AZ : A motorcyclist killed in a early morning collision with Tucson police car at City's east side On Tuesday, July 12th, 2016

A motorcyclist is dead following a collision involving his vehicle and a Tucson police car.

The collision occurred early Tuesday morning on the city's east side. The officer involved was not injured.

Media reports indicate the collision occurred as a police helicopter followed the motorcyclist after he left the scene of a fight when officers arrived there.

The motorcyclist's identity was not immediately released.
