Ellensburg, WA : Four people injured in rollover crash on Highway 97 early Sunday, Oct 11, 2015

Four men were injured, with two of them taken to Harborview Medical Center in Seattle, when their pickup rolled on Highway 97 north of Ellensburg early Sunday.

Alcohol or drugs are believed to have been involved, the State Patrol said in a news release.

The State Patrol said two men from Maple Valley, ages 21 and 23, were thrown from the bed of the pickup; both were taken to Harborview with undisclosed injuries.

A nursing supervisor said one was in critical condition Sunday afternoon.

The two men were in a pickup driven by a 21-year-old resident of Normandy Park. The news release said the driver fell asleep while driving south shortly after midnight and he overcorrected when the vehicle left the road, causing the pickup to roll.

The driver and another passenger were taken to Kittitas Valley Healthcare Hospital in Ellensburg. The hospital said they were treated and released.

The State Patrol said charges are pending.
