Warrenton, VA : A Woodbridge man died on Sunday, July 2, 2017
A Woodbridge man died Sunday of injuries he suffered crash in the 95 Express Lanes.
The wreck happened at 5:45 a.m. in the express lanes near the 159 mile marker near Prince William Parkway.
A 2004 Ford Explorer was traveling north when it ran off the left side of the road, struck the Jersey wall and overturned two times. As the vehicle overturned, the front-seat passenger was ejected from the vehicle, state police spokeswoman Corinne Geller said.
The front-seat passenger, Jose M. Lemus, 60, of Woodbridge, was flown to Inova Fairfax Hospital, where he died July 2, she said.
The driver and two other passengers were taken to a nearby hospital for non-life threatening injuries.
The crash remains under investigation at this time.
