One dead, two injured in Blount County crash in Maryville Tennessee

One person is dead and two others injured after a two vehicle crash in Blount County.The accident happened Monday afternoon in Maryville on Diamond Branch Road.
According to the Tennessee Highway Patrol report Ray Dailey, 88, missed his turn and made an illegal U-turn. Dailey's SUV turned into Amanda Kittle's, 30, Ford Tarus sending both vehicles off the left shoulder. The SUV went down the embankment and struck a tree.
Dailey's passenger, 83-year-old Johnnie Dailey was killed. According the report, both her and Ray were wearing their seatbelts.
