West Boca, FL : Bicyclist who died in crash at the 12000 block of State Road 7 on Saturday, 15th February, 2020 02/15/2020

The bicyclist who was struck and killed on State Road 7 late Saturday night was a 26-year-old woman, the Palm Beach County Sheriff’s Office said Monday.
Maria Yohany Alvarez Jimenez, whose address is unknown, tried to cross the 12000 block of State Road 7 in West Boca when she was struck by a 2018 Infinity SUV that was northbound, according to the Sheriff’s Office.
The driver of the vehicle was Iris Tallerie, 69, of Lake Worth, the agency said. Tallerie struck Jimenez’s front wheel during the collision, propelling Jimenez from the bicycle and onto the hood of the car.
Jimenez later struck the car’s passenger side mirror. She died at the crash site.
