Keeseville, NY : John Snyder, 34, died in car crash east on Soper Road Tuesday night, June 7, 2016

A New York man was killed when he crashed his car in Keeseville Tuesday night.

Police say John Snyder, 34, of Keeseville, was headed east on Soper Road when he missed a curve and hit a guard rail and utility pole.

Authorities say Snyder was pronounced dead at the scene. His body was taken to the hospital in Saranac Lake for an autopsy.
