Sharpsburg Pike, MD : Sharpsburg Pike reopens following crash involving motorcycle and two vehicles on Monday, 2nd September 2019

Sharpsburg Pike at Woodside Drive south of Hagerstown reopened at about 9:40 p.m. following a crash involving a motorcycle and two vehicles, according to a Maryland State Police spokesman.

The crash, which was reported at 8:21 p.m., occurred as a motorcycle driver was waiting to turn left off Sharpsburg Pike.

A vehicle struck the rear of the motorcycle, the spokesman said.

After hitting the motorcycle, the vehicle struck another vehicle head-on, the spokesman said.

Four people are being transported to the hospital, but their injuries do not appear to be life-threatening, the spokesman said.
