Sun Valley, NV : One man is dead after a vehicle struck on Friday July 4th 2014.

One man is dead after a vehicle struck a moped in Sun Valley on Friday. Accoring to the Nevada Highway Patrol, the incident happened between Second and Third Avenues at around 9:30. The moped was pulling out of a driveway onto Sun Valley Boulevard when it was struck by a Ford Explorer traveling southbound. When troopers arrived on scene, the moped was pinned under the Explorer. The four people who were in the Explorer are not hurt, and a preliminary investigation indicates the man riding the moped failed to yield when exiting the driveway.
