Louisville, KY : Toddler, other passenger killed in Shelby County car crash on Friday, December 2, 2016
A young victim has been named in a Shelby County crash which occurred on Friday.
One-year-old Dennis Chapman was pronounced dead at Norton Children's Hospital on Friday night due to multiple blunt force injuries sustained in the crash.
Dennis M. Chapman, 20, was driving the 1998 green Subaru, when he was struck by a red Dodge SUV at the intersection of Old Bruerstown Road and Taylorsville Road.
The collision caused the Subaru to go over an embankment, according to Kentucky State Police.
There were two other passengers in the Subaru; one of them was pronounced dead at Jewish Hospital in Shelbyville. That victim has not yet been identified. The fourth passenger's condition was not released.
The driver of the Dodge, Kenneth Stewart, was also transported to Jewish Hospital with minor injuries.
