Two people were injured in a two-vehicle crash on Saturday in Penn Township, police said.
The incident closed York Road near Gitts Run Road for about one hour, according to a news release from Southwestern Regional Police Department.
Rita Klunk, of New Oxford, was stopped at a stop sign on Gitts Run Road around 5:20 p.m. according to police. The 68-year-old, who was traveling with her three grandchildren, pulled into the intersection to travel toward Spring Grove without checking for oncoming traffic, according to the release.
Michael Haplea, 25, of Doylestown, swerved to miss Klunk's mini-van, but the two vehicles hit head-on, causing Haplea's pickup to roll onto its side, according to the release.
Klunk was extricated from her vehicle by Hanover Fire Department officials.
Klunk and Haplea were taken to Hanover Hospital for treatment of injuries, according to police.
