Phoenix, AZ : Man who died in Phoenix crash identified near 7th Street and Dunlap Avenue on Thursday, 12th March, 2020

A passenger who died in a crash Thursday in Phoenix was identified as 54-year-old Fernando A. Hernandez, according to police officials.

The three-vehicle collision happened about 5 p.m. near 7th Street and Dunlap Avenue, according to Phoenix Police Department.

Hernandez was a passenger in a white sedan traveling south on 7th Street when the driver tried to make a left turn onto east Dunlap Avenue. A white pickup truck collided with the sedan, causing it to crash into a white minivan.

Hernandez was pronounced dead at the scene. The drivers of the truck and sedan were taken to a hospital with non-life threatening injuries.

Two people in the minivan were not injured.
