Salem County, NJ : 1 killed in crash between tractor trailer and SUV on Wednesday, 27th January 2021

A motorist was killed Wednesday afternoon when a tractor trailer and an SUV collided at a Salem County intersection.

The crash occurred shortly before 12:30 p.m. at Route 77 and Swedesboro Road in Upper Pittsgrove Township, a New Jersey State Police spokesman confirmed.

The driver of a Lexus RX-400 was pronounced dead at the scene, authorities said.

The cause of the crash remains under investigation and additional details were not released.
