CEDAR RAPIDS, IA : Cedar Rapids man injured in crash on Thursday, 26th September 2024

A Cedar Rapids man was injured in a single-vehicle crash into a ditch on Thursday.

Multiple agencies responded to Secrist Road and Marak Lane for a personal injury accident around 11:42 a.m.

A vehicle entered the south ditch, striking a light pole and continuing east through a cornfield before coming to a rest in a ditch.

The driver, identified as 86-year-old David Jeffries, was transported to an area hospital for non-life-threatening injuries.
