East Haddam, CT : 62-year-old Colchester man died when motorcycle collided with car on the Haddam Colchester Turnpike on Saturday, June 27, 2015

The driver of a Harley-Davidson motorcycle was killed in a two-vehicle crash Saturday evening on Haddam Colchester Turnpike at Launching Area Road.

Rocco Albano, 62, of 14A O’Connell Road, Colchester, the driver of a 2004 Harley-Davidson motorcycle was killed in the crash with a 2001 Chevrolet Corvette driven by Samantha Collette, 18, of Middletown. Collette was not injured, police said.

Police released no details of the crash, which occurred at 4 p.m. Saturday.
