Las Vegas, NV : Michael Brandon Mattingly, 26 killed in motorcycle crash on Sunday, November 9, 2014

A motorcyclist killed in a crash early Sunday in the southern valley has been identified as Michael Brandon Mattingly, 26, of Las Vegas, according to the Clark County Coroner’s Office. Metro Police received reports about 3:40 a.m. of a crash involving a motorcycle at the intersection of East Pebble and Haviland roads, according to a news release. Mattingly was speeding east on Pebble Road when he lost control of the 2013 Honda CBR500R he was riding, the release said. The motorcycle crashed in the intersection and hit a tree and block wall, police said. The wreck resulted in the 68th traffic-related fatality in Metro’s jurisdiction this year.
