EASTOVER, SC : 1 killed in accident in Lower Richland County on Thursday, 11th July 2019

One person is dead following a car accident in Lower Richland County early Thursday morning.

Richland county coroner Gary Watts has identifed the person who died as Leroy James Abrams, 31 of Sumter. He was the driver of the car and was not wearing a seat belt and died at the scene. An autopsy indicated the cause of death to be 'Blunt Force Trauma to the Torso' due to the motor vehicle collision.
