Three Vehicle crash hurts 7 people in Ryan

Seven people were hurt in a crash on the Dan Ryan Expressway Saturday night on the South Side.

The three-vehicle crash occurred about 8:15 p.m. on the Dan Ryan Expressway (I-94) near 69th Street, authorities said.

Three people were transported by ambulance to Jackson Park Hospital and Medical Center in good condition, according to Fire Media Affairs spokesman Will Knight.

Two others—one in fair-to-serious condition and one in good condition—were taken to Saint Bernard Hospital and Health Care Center, Knight said.

Additionally, one person listed in fair-to-serious condition and another listed in good condition were taken to University of Chicago Medical Center, Knight said.

Illinois State Police could not immediately provide further details on the circumstances surrounding the crash Saturday night.
