Milwaukee, WI : Tunnel in Mitchell Interchange reopens following motorcycle crash on Monday morning, November 3, 2014

Emergency crews responded to a crash at the exit of a ramp in the Mitchell Interchange. Lanes from eastbound I-43/94 to northbound I-43 were closed due to a crash in the tunnel for a time Monday morning. The crash was reported around 7:30 a.m. DOT officials said the accident appears to be serious and involves a motorcyclist. Matt Salemme in NewsChopper 12 reports that deputies blocked off the ramp for a time, then reopened the ramp to traffic around 8:10 a.m. Traffic appears to be going by the scene in the left lane.
