Cherry Hill Township, NJ : Winslow woman, 52, killed in Cherry Hill car accident on Tuesday, January 6, 2015

Tuesday morning's three-vehicle crash along Haddonfield-Berlin Road claimed the life of a Winslow Township woman and left two other motorists injured, police said.

On Jan. 6 shortly before 8:40 a.m., Cherry Hill police responded to the crash on Haddonfield-Berlin Road near Morris Drive.

Following an investigation, police determined the driver of a 2005 Chevrolet traveling north on Haddonfield-Berlin Road lost control. The vehicle then slid across the opposing lanes and collided head-on with a 2013 Ford van traveling south, which was operated by a 54-year-old Coatesville, Pennsylvania man. The van was then struck from behind by a third vehicle, police said.

The driver of the Chevrolet, identified as the 52-year-old Winslow victim, was pronounced dead at the scene by Virtua paramedics. The other two drivers were transported to local hospitals for treatment of minor injuries, police said. Haddonfield-Berlin Road was completely closed for about four hours during the investigation.
