HENRY COUNTY, OH : 1 killed in three-vehicle crash in Henry County on Monday, 2nd September 2024

A 90-year-old from Napoleon died in a three-vehicle crash in Henry County Monday afternoon, the Ohio State Highway Patrol said in a press release.

Harriet Schroeder was driving south on County Road 17D just before 1:30 p.m., about six miles southwest of Napoleon, and stopped at a stop sign at the intersection with U.S. 24. A 38-year-old from Defiance driving a pickup truck behind Schroeder did not maintain enough distance, according to OSHP, and hit Schroeder's vehicle.
