A 17-year-old boy from Frazer died and an 11-year-old boy was injured when a car went off the road, over an embankment and into an irrigation ditch northeast of Fort Peck Lake. The Montana Highway Patrol says the crash happened at 6:20 p.m. Saturday. The patrol says the 17-year-old failed to negotiate a sharp turn in the road and continued straight. He tried to get back on the road, but overcorrected, causing the car to roll through a fence and down an embankment. The car landed on its top in an irrigation ditch. The patrol tells The Billings Gazette the driver was trapped in the vehicle, but the younger boy was able to get out. He was taken to the hospital in Glasgow.
