Two people are dead following a head-on collision in Clare County.
Clare County Sheriff's Office deputies were dispatched about 9:45 a.m. Monday, Aug. 22, to the area of eastbound U.S. 10 near Old State Avenue in Lincoln Township for a report of a silver Mercury Sable sedan traveling west
in the eastbound lane, according to a sheriff's office news release. While on their way, deputies were informed of a possible head-on collision.
The news release did not include the victims' names, and MLive could not immediately reach Sheriff John Wilson Tuesday, Aug. 23, for additional information.
