MEDINA, OH : Interstate 71 south closed after police chase crash on Monday, March 6th 2017

A portion of Interstate 71 is closed following a police chase that resulted in a crash.

The crash happened around 2:30 a.m. Tuesday on Interstate 71 south at Ohio 3, a Strongsville police dispatcher said.

The Medina County Coroner's Office also was on scene, the dispatcher said.

It is unclear how long the road will be closed.
