FORSYTH, GA : 2 dead, 10-month-old seriously hurt in Georgia head-on crash on Ga. 83 in Monroe County on Thursday, 12th July 2018

A head-on crash in Georgia has left two people dead and seriously injured a 10-month-old boy.

The Atlanta Journal-Constitution reports the wreck happened Thursday on Ga. 83 in Monroe County when a 2008 Chevrolet Avalanche collided with a 2006 Nissan Altima.

Sheriff’s spokesman Lt. Lawson Bittick says 24-year-old Carole Foster, of Forsyth, was trapped in the Altima and died at the scene. The 10-month-old traveling with her was flown to Children’s Healthcare of Atlanta at Egleston.
