Garfield County, OK : Medford man injured after his truck went off the road in northwest Garfield County on Tuesday morning, November 25, 2014

A Medford man was in stable condition at OU Medical Center Tuesday morning with head and internal injuries after his truck went off the road in northwest Garfield County. According to a report by the Oklahoma Highway Patrol, Jeremy Downing, 37, Medford, was westbound on Lake Hellums Road a mile and a half east of Oklahoma 132 when the 2013 Kenworth he was driving left the road, struck a culvert and flipped over onto its top. Downing, who was not wearing a seat belt, was pinned about two and a half hours before being freed by the Hillsdale-Carrier Fire Department. LIFE EMS took Downing to St. Mary’s Regional Medical Center. He was then taken to OU Medical Center.
