Cayuga , IN : Three people killed in Crash after lost control of pickup truck and smashed into building on Friday afternoon , January 2nd 2015

Three people were killed in a crash Friday afternoon in Cayuga, including two teen sisters from Muncie. They were traveling in a pickup truck that lost control and smashed into a building.

Annie Clark, 18, and her sister Caroline were both pronounced dead at the scene. 18-year-old Braeden Hollowell also died in that accident.

State Police say 18-year-old Ethan Lee, of Cayuga, was driving the Ford F-150, headed eastbound on Vermillion County Road 400 North, near Eighth Street. The truck hit a rise in the road and lost control, striking an embankment, going airborne and then crashing through a wall at the Colonial Brick Corp. office.

Lee survived the crash but was flown to Methodist Hospital by medical helicopter.

One person in the office, Donna Stambaugh, was injured when the truck came barreling through the wall. Co-workers pulled her from debris and took her to the hospital.

The Clark sisters were both believed to be students at Cowan Junior-Senior High School. Hollowell and Lee reportedly played football for North Vermillion High School.

Police say no one in the pickup truck was wearing a seat belt. They believe speed, but not alcohol or drugs, was a contributing factor.
