McCook, NE : Suburban Omaha woman dies in crash near McCook Thursday on June 26, 2014

A suburban Omaha woman has died in a southwest Nebraska crash that also injured a McCook man.

Lexington radio station KRVN says the accident was reported at 1 a.m. Thursday on U.S. Highway 83 north of McCook in Red Willow County.

The Nebraska State Patrol says the driver and passenger were ejected when the vehicle left the highway just south of Red Willow Dam and rolled in a roadside ditch.

The patrol listed the dead woman as 43-year-old Roxanne Arens, of Papillion and the injured man as 42-year-old Charles Jordan. He was taken to Good Samaritan Hospital in Kearney.
