ROCKLIN, CA : Pedestrian killed in late-night hit-and-run crash in on Thursday, 4th February 2021

A pedestrian was killed in a late-night hit and run crash in Rocklin Thursday night, according to police.

The crash happened around 10:47 p.m. in the area of Sierra College Boulevard near Scriber Way, the Rocklin Police Department said.

Officers were initially responding to reports of a person “laying in the roadway,” police said.

When officers arrived, they found that the person appeared to have been struck by a vehicle and was pronounced dead at the scene, police said.
