CHICAGO, IL : Crash on Bishop Ford leaves 3 children seriously injured; northbound lanes closed on Monday, 21st October 2024

Three children and an adult were seriously injured in a crash involving a semi truck on the Bishop Ford Freeway Monday morning.

The incident occurred around 8:51 a.m. when a semi collided with a car in the northbound lanes of I-94 near 115th Street.

One adult and three children were taken to a local hospital with serious injuries.

The northbound lanes of I-94 were closed following the crash, but have since reopened.

The exact cause of the crash is currently under investigation.
